Robert Whelen joined Investure in July 2022 as a member of the Reporting & Analytics team. Prior to Investure, Robert spent three years at Silver Point Capital – a distressed credit & special situations hedge fund – where he led the Strategic Reporting group. Robert’s role at Silver Point was dualistic – focusing both on long term strategic initiatives and rapid development - and touched every part of Silver Point’s business; from the development of market analysis for the investment team, to the ideation & construction of material for strategic marketing initiatives & new fund launches, to managing critical infrastructure and technology implementation projects. Prior to Silver Point, Rob worked at Brandywine Global and Merrill Lynch in performance and risk analysis roles.

Robert earned his BS in Management with a Concentration in Finance from Georgia Tech. He has also served more than four years as a member of the US Navy Reserve.
